Veteran actor Justus Esiri dies!

Just when everyone thought the rampaging spirit of death would atleast give the entertainment industry a break another solid entertainer and popular actor Justice Esiri has passed on.

Details of the circumstances that led to his death are still sketchy as the news is only breaking. We however know that his son, pop singer Dr Sid has put up a photo of Justice Esiri on his twitter avatar and updated his bio as ‘RIP Dad‘.
The Actors Guild of Nigeria are expected to give a statement soon as the shock of Justice Esiri’s passing resonates through the industry.
In a career that spanned decades, late Mr Esiri, shot to lime light in the 70s with his most popular role to date ‘Headmaster’ in the nationwide series ‘Village Headmaster’ which aired on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
He was married to his wife Omiete and together they had six children, one of them being Dentist-turned pop artiste Dr SID.
